Senior Java Developer Required

Job Description:

This position involves partnering closely with peers to ensure deliverables meet functional requirements, on time, with the highest quality. You will also work closely with senior engineers and architects to leverage and improve the core capabilities of the system.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and test applications in accordance with established requirements, standards, processes and best practices.
  • Participate in overall development and deployment process, in a Business-Driven and continuous integration environment.
  • Participate in application development processes that are in alignment with the goals of Application Architecture, Quality Assurance and Change Management.
  • Complete software development duties, assist in technical designs, unit testing and code reviews.
  • Collaborate within an Agile dynamic development environment.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of five years application development related experience and/or training; or equivalent
    combination of education and experience.
  • Full stack development experience is required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of building and delivering high quality applications from requirement gathering to post production support.
  • Thorough understanding of software development life cycle and a background successfully delivering applications using agile methods and collaborating with non-technical team members including quality assurance, business analysts, and project managers.
  • Professional development experience with Java or Groovy and JavaScript.
  • Application development experience with common libraries such as Spring, Hibernate,
    JUnit, Spock, Gradle, and Apache Maven.
  • Knowledge of creating single page applications using a framework such as Angular, and ReactJS
  • Experience creating RESTful web services.
  • Experience with integration such as Bamboo.
  • Load and performance testing experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the following technologies and libraries is a plus: Spring Boot, Grails, NodeJS, and Amazon Web Services.
  • Self-motivated and able to work cohesively within a team environment on multiple, concurrent project initiatives.
  • Strong problem analyzing, solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work within an environment of changing priorities and as an integral part of a team.

Cyber Security Engineer Required

The ideal candidate will identify and implement Cybersecurity solutions to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems in Microsoft Infrastructure, Platform, and Software as a Service offerings including Azure and Office 365 (O365). As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and building Cybersecurity solutions in the Cloud to protect personal, financial, health, and other sensitive information for government agencies.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Research, design, and implement Cybersecurity solutions to protect our client’s most sensitive information in Microsoft’s Global and Government Cloud regions
  • Coordinate with executives, clients, and industry leading vendors to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate your customer’s goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective Cloud hosted solutions
  • Lead the team through a critical approach to design, providing alternatives and customizing solutions, to maintain a balance of security and mission needs
  • Help customers by integrating security best practices like SecDevOps, cross-zone and multi-region redundancy, Identity and Access Management, encryption, and security analytics
  • Work independently to evaluate symptoms and determine the root cause of complex client issues with the Exchange Online, and Exchange Hybrid (Exchange On-Premise and On-Line) environments
  • Utilize technical knowledge and discretion to rapidly determine an appropriate course of recovery action when a problem occurs

Education/Experience Required:

  • Experience with engineering and administering production IT systems or networks for large commercial enterprises or government agencies
  • 4+ years of experience with supporting production systems in Azure and Office 365
  • 2+ years of experience with leading teams of technical staff in the design, build, and integration of IT solutions
  • Experience with network and system security tools in the Cloud, including network firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS) and intrusion prevention systems (IPS), anti-malware, vulnerability scanning, encryption, monitoring, and Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) and developing technical engineering artifacts, including requirements traceability matrices, network diagrams, bills of materials, data flow diagrams, installation procedures, and operations manuals
  • Knowledge of how to apply native Cloud security and monitoring services in Azure, including Network Security Groups, Azure Key Vault, Azure Firewall, Azure Active Directory, Azure Monitor, Security Center, Azure Advanced Threat Protection, and Azure Policy
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity concepts, including threats, vulnerabilities, security operations, encryption, boundary defense, auditing, authentication, and risk management
  • Ability to automate the provisioning and configuration of IT environments, including tools, such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or PowerShell tools
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange Online Advanced Threat Protection (ATP)
  • Experience with Office 365 Advanced Threat Protection (ATP)
